Tales from around town

The old site was closed down by Microsoft at midnight, February 28, 2009.

Rumors and more rumors... From various sources on and off the service, this is the gossip on new equipment. I have herd talk of a 134 foot E-One Bronto being supplied by Federal money, two new rescues, a pump tank, a command post (SVI maybe...?) and some other rigs. I would be willing to guess that P33 and P43 will see something soon, and maybe P71, P72, P73 and P92. I am sure a PT will fit into the picture some place... With the addition of a couple ladders for 23 and 57 and a few tankers, that should turn over the entire fleet. (post amalgamation)

Stay tuned

Station 32 received a brand new Pump-Tank, unsure where their old HME pump when though, and I'm going to take a wild guess and say that their old tanker is now a spare. Also Pump 92 is now running a brand new Spartan metrostar carl thibault the sister truck to P33 or P43. Station 93 is also awaiting a new Rescue, they will either be getting the rescue that 53 has right now, or be getting the brand new one thats getting its finishing touch at eastway. I believe thats all thats been going on in the rural south of Ottawa.

Forgot to mention that Station 91 has also welcomed a brand new carl thibault Ladder (bucket)into their Station. Very sharp looking truck.
